7/29/18 live mob drills. OH NO! bonnie FELL overboard! roxy immediately turned the boat around, mo deployed the lifesling and hauled bonnie BACK hand over hand. under heaved to conditions, USING THE TOPPING LIFT roxy & mo MADE A SUCCESSFUL RECOVERY!

7/22/18 Anchoring class with Joe, Cheryl, Valerie, sharon, shelly, francis. Anchored in shelter island. breezy day used two snubber techniques, one with rolling hitch on the anchor chain.

7/14/18 reefing class with shelly, valerie, francis- Good wind 12 - 13 knots, hanked on staysail, running back stays, first reefed down tack and clew #1, then tack and clew #2. Done under sail on a close reach. Had to remove the leeward running backs

7/08/18 Docking class with Valerie, christian, and bonnie. Used hand signals for mooring approach, spring lines, fwp sequence, determined current and wind direction for docking and undocking, steered in reverse to a mark.

6/29/18 to 7/3/18: S.D. to Santa Cruz Island to Emerald Bay to 4th of July to S.D. 297NM. Anna, John, MO, Christian. two night passages, dolphins, and 5 whale blows greeted us at S.D.
